TWO ARRESTED IN FAKE MHADA HOME APPLICATION FORMS

The application forms for MHADA homes were to be distributed in January but MHADA’s Vigilance department found that duplicate forms had been distributed in August last year itself. The Dahisar Police has arrested two in the case who sold duplicate forms of MHADA. The application forms for MHADA homes were to be distributed in January this year but the two arrested had forged forms and sold them in August last year, skimming people of their money and dreams. The arrested sold the forms at Rs 30000 to Rs 40000 while the original forms cost only Rs 100. The arrested had even opened two offices in Borivali from where they carried out their illegal activity. Few days back, MHADA’s Vigilance dept. received a complaint and raided the office. The police has seized over a lakh blank forms from them.
