TWO LAKH TEN THOUSAND STUDENTS NOW HAVE BANK ACCOUNTS

bank-acct1The MCGM has opened 2 lakh ten thousand bank accounts with Indian bank of female students studying in MCGM schools to save their attendance allowance. With a view to stop the dropouts of female students in MCGM schools, MCGM will be opening saving bank accounts for its female students from class 1 to class 7 with a minimum deposit of rupees 1000. When the students pass seventh class and get promoted to eighth class, they will be paid rupees 2000. This amount would help the students of 8th, 9th and 10th class to fulfill their financial needs in these classes. A budget of Rs 42.75 crores is estimated for this project.
