Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray has replied to Raj Thackeray’s attack in the rally held at Thane. Thane and Kalyan constituencies are considered to be the stronghold of Shiv Sena and how important these seats are for Shiv Sena is seen from the fact that Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray addressed his last political rally for the Lok Sabha elections at Thane. Hit hard by the continuous allegations being made by both NCP and Shiv Sena against their candidate from Thane constituency Vijay Chougule, Shiv Sena was waiting for a chance to reply to the allegations in equally aggressive style. On the same grounds where Raj Thackeray had made some serious allegations against Uddhav Thackeray and Vijay Chougule, Sena leaders retorted to the allegations. Sena leader Suresh Dada Jain hit out at Sharad Pawar and Chagan Bhujbal in the Telgi stamp paper scam’s narco analysis test and demanded that their arrest in the case. Shiv Sena Thane Chief Eknath Shinde was most aggressive while retorting to the allegations made by Raj Thackeray. The candidate Vijay Chougule too replied to Raj Thackeray’s allegations saying that had he not had the Thackeray surname, Raj would have been breaking stones in jail. Uddhav Thackeray on the other hand chose to not react to Raj Thackeray’s allegations and instead attacked Sonia Gandhi and Sharad Pawar. The leader took up the burning issues like load shedding, security and farmer’s suicide. With the rally in Thane the Shiv Sena has again proved that it does matter which candidate contests from Shiv Sena at Thane, all that matters is winning the seat.
