UNEMPLOYED EXASPERATED YOUTH ATTEMPTS SUICIDE FROM CHIEF MINISTER’S OFFICE BUILDING

sucide-2A man, fed up with the life of being jobless for 15 years attempted suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of the state secretariat building but was foiled in his bid by security personnel. Police overpowered the 35-year-old Raju Adangale who was about to jump out of the building. Adangale, a resident of Ghatkopar in Mumbai, said he was fed up with being jobless for the last 15 years. Shockingly, Chief Minister VIlasrao Deshmukh did not even acknowledge the man or talk to him about his issue but simply walked past him. Co-operation Minister Patangrao Kadam’s comment on the matter was that suicide was not the solution to problems. However, Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil sounded more concerned and stated that if not a government job he would try to try to provide employment to the youth in a private company.
