Union Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has given assurances that Maharashtra state would be freed of power cuts in the next 2 to 3 years. He was speaking at a workshop held for Congress Spokespersons in Nerul. Present during the first day of the state level Congress Spokespersons workshop at Nerul was Union Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde. Addressing the spokespersons and party workers, he spoke on the achievements of the party. He further informed the gathering on the strategies of the government to provide power supply to the state. Speaking to the media he stated that Maharashtra State would be free of power cuts in two to three years. It maybe recalled that the workshop was being held in Navi Mumbai for its Spokespersons across the state. Navi Mumbai Congress President Namdeo Bhagat expressed satisfaction in the completion of this two day workshop. Approximately 250 speakers from 4 states including Maharashtra, Goa, Gujrat and Daman participated in the workshop. Sudhir Sharma NMTV News.
