During his weekly Janta Darbaar, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik lambasted the opposition on the issue of 2.5 FSI and said that politics was being played over the approval of 2.5 FSI for CIDCO dilapidated buildings in Navi Mumbai. He added that the MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik and MLA Sandeep Naik would take to streets if 2.5 FSI was not approved by April. Several corporators of Vashi which included Deputy Mayor Bharat Nakhate, Kishor Patkar, Ramesh Shinde, Vaibhav gaikwad and others took up the issue of 2.5 FSI for CIDCO dilapidated buildings at Thane GUardnain Minister Ganesh Naik’s Janta Darbar. Speaking to the media on this issue, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik expressed confidence that 2.5 FSI would be approved by April. When the media questioned him on the delay on approval of FSI, Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik said that negative politics by some sections of the local opposition parties had led to the delay in its approval. Minister Ganesh Naik also stressed that the residents of such dilapidated buildings should themselves decide the choice of the builders. He stated that if the issue is not resolved within three months, then the MP and MLA would take to streets.
