The victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack are still awaiting the centre’s financial assistance. These allegations were made by BJP leader and former MP Kirit Somaiya while addressing a press conference. Till date, families of martyr ATS Chief Hemant Karkare and Police constable Tukaram Ombale are yet to receive financial aid from the Prime minister and Home ministry. Moreover, out of 500 families, 400 of these are still awaiting help from the Government. The information which was given by the Human Rights Commission was informed to the media by BJP leader and former MP Kirit Somaiya. According to Kirit Somaiya, out of 48 families, 42 of them and out of 80 injured people, 53 of them are yet to receive aid from the Prime minister.
