The by elections for the two wards at Airoli is gaining momentum by the day as NCP, under the leadership of its Navi Mumbai Supremo Ganesh Naik, is leaving no stones unturned to unfurl their flag in the two wards that are otherwise the stronghold of Sena strongman Vijay Chougule. These elections might just be by elections but the manner in which it is being fought has made it a battle for prestige for the Sena and NCP. The latest has been a rally taken out by Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik who appealed to voters in Chinchpada and Ramnagar to come out of their homes and fearlessly vote on D day. Infact, the heat of the battle reached to an extent that alleged Sena supporters stone-pelted the Minister and police vehicles. This led to chaos for a while as crowds started getting out of control. But despite the growing atmosphere of fear, looks like Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik is determined to reach every home with the appeal vote for change, vote for safe Airoli.
