While it’s the result of the governor’s race, Democrats stand out victorious grabbing almost all the positions, US

The result from the governor’s election day has been declared in US and even this time Democrats were lucky enough to take the cake from the Republicans. Former head of the Democratic National Committee Terry McAuliffe became the governor of Virginia after defeating strong Republican candidate Ken Cuccinelli II merely with 2 percent. Ken had been considered an icon of the tea party movement and was strongly positive of an easy win. However with this defeat Ken’s rise as a Republican party star has taken a backseat now.
Democratic candidate Ralph Northam defeated Republican candidate E. W. Jackson becoming lieutenant governor. E. W. Jackson was also positive to win through as he had managed to grab most of the spotlight with his campaigning speeches on gay marriages and abortion. In New York City Bill De Blasio defeated Republican Joe Lhota winning City Hall. In New Jersey Republican candidate Gov. Chris Christie defeated Democratic opponent Sen. Barbara Buono. Even as the voting results had come out rather close, most of the voters were found speaking out of fact if they could have better candidates than McAuliffe or Ken, as their vote was more like ‘no option’ type.
