It is usually the time of the year when cold chills are felt in the city. However, this year chills are less with the city experiencing cool weather. This change in temperature however has not done much for shops selling woolen and winter clothes. This is the market situated near the Thane railway station. This market is famous for its woolen and winter clothes especially this time of the year. Many immigrants from Nepal flank to the place and spread out their wares brought in from Ludhiana. However, in the economic depression and with winter not being as chilly as it was last year, the sale of their merchandise has been considerably low.
