The WI-FI Technique which was once a convenience for the people has today become more of a concern. WI-FI, is such a technique through which one can stay connected to other internet connection within a limited range. This wire free technique can easily connect to other’s computers. However, since the computers are unsecured, many can hack passwords and misuse it. Cyber experts state that around 70-80% people seldom change their computer passwords. The rest of them do not keep any passwords for their computers and these are the people who are easy targets for hackers. Mumbai has been linked to the serial blasts that rocked Ahmedabad. First was the Gunina building at Sanpada, then Khalsa college and the latest being the Eric House at Chembur. According to cyber experts who are also assisting the ATS to crack the Delhi bomb blasts A Kamat, the owner of the company was totally unaware that his computer was left unsecured and somebody was taking advantage of this. With the country growingly becoming vulnerable to terrorist activities, there is not much the law and order forces can do unless every wi-fi customer studies the drawbacks of this service and remains on his or her guard.
