The “Investor Education and Welfare Association” had a workshop under the aegis of the securities and exchange board of India – IPEF. People who like to invest their money in the share market need to do their home work well. This message was passed on to those present for the workshop that was conducted by the “Investor Education and Welfare Association” at the UTI Institute of Capital Markets in Sector 17, Vashi. The program began with a video presentation of Nandan Nilekanis talk on “India’s Growth Story at California.” Another speaker Manish Bansal who spoke on “Value Investing” said that there is a approach to investing through certain principles of price and value. The President of “Investor Education and Welfare Association” Navnitlal Bhatia said that the association was established with a motto to educate investors. He gave us an insight on SEBI regulations. The Secretary of the Association Prakash Shah spoke about SEBI regulations and new schemes. Program Coordinator of IEWA Bharat Kanabar spoke about factors benefiting investors.
