YET ANOTHER POLICE OFFICER CAUGHT BY ANTI CORRUPTION BUREAU – THIS TIME IT’S THE A RABALE INSPECTOR

The height of corruption prevailing in the police department was seen when a sub-inspector posted at Rabale police station was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000. In a shocking case, a sub-inspector of Rabale police station was caught red-handed by the Anti corruption Bureau, Thane for accepting bribe of Rs 50000. The arrested Jyotiram Patil working in police force since 2005 was posted at the Rabale police station last year. It is being said that Jyotiram Patil had demanded money from the complainant Arvind Harsora after a complaint for filed against his son for allegedly being involved in a dispute with the tenant of their Airoli flat. The tenant refused to vacate the premises which led to a fight between the two. Taking advantage of the situation Patil had led Harsora to believe that serious offences would be pressed and demanded the money. The complainant was taken to an unidentified place by Jyotiram Patil along with an accomplice where he collected the bribe. While Patil’s accomplice ie yet to be identified, Patil was arrested on the basis of the special marked notes. Bureau report – NMTV
