Yet once again Egypt witness suspension of the national league after violence broke out between police and fans, Cairo

It happened in year 2012 and now it has happened again when Egyptian Cabinet had to suspend the Soccer National League after violence broke out between soccer fans and the authorities. For year 2012, the clash had been even more severe with shocking aftermath because it had followed the overthrowing of then President Hosni Mubarak. The police had managed their best to control the violence still it follows with twelve deaths. According to the fans it was because of the police that the violence broke out as they were not being allowed to enter the stadium. However, the authorities had a different say altogether. According to them some hardcore fans of the Zamalek team tried to enter the stadium forcefully without any tickets and when they were being stopped they started hurling stones which led to the start of the violence.
